I own my own clubs. I don't really like joining any. I know how much effort it takes to maintain a club: Except for this, I don't mind people leaving me comments on the page itself saying that they want to join. It's not impossible, infact, it's very possible. I do it, and I own two clubs.

I never said anywhere that I was interested in joining. If I was, I would have already done so. I don't like joining clubs. I was doing the club members a favor. I came to the club and saw that, so I said something because obviously people didn't read the journal. I don't know why you are telling me this like I have no clue. If I was clueless, I wouldn't have said a thing.

Then you're probably not going to get added to many things. As a president of a club, I'm speaking from experience. It takes a -lot- of effort to maintain a club, and for the most part keeping up with front page comments is basically impossible. whether people are just randomly chatting or asking questions... it takes up space quickly so an important question could get bumped off at any moment. My advice would be to take the entire two minutes, and write a quick note if you're that interested in joining.
